After finishing the SovGa course over the summer, i started back at university and have been channeling most of my energy into work for the past few months. This has consisted of researching and designing a poster for my dissertation, focussing on the studio configuration module as of which we need to break down the key components of a studio (not physically of-course) that will be presented to academic professionals who know the studio very well. Most importantly though, i have been working towards my honors project (the biggest module) that is a body of work consisting of 15 minutes that shall be presented and hopefully demonstrate skills that i have developed throughout the years of being at university. Unreal Engine and Wwise should demonstrate my ability to work with a proven and well established middleware and game engine that are already well established throughout the industry.

Alongside this I have established a relationship with some of the game design students, (who also attend the same university) who are in need of some sound design and SFX for their game as of which i really like the sounds of. The game will involve a lot of medieval esque sounds, which i cant wait to make a start on.

I have also been working on another redesign in order to showcase more of my sound design capabilities. I shall be creating a new blog that will be talking through the process as of how i find and manipulate certain sounds to find something i am happy with.
